Hump Day Report: Victim Mentality, Real And Fake

Remember Kenneth Gladney? He was assaulted by SEIU thugs in 2009.

ALOHA, ALL!!  By now you’ve heard about the violence in Michigan because they passed right-to-work laws there.  Imagine…giving people the freedom to NOT have to join/contribute to a union incites violence??  The unions are trying to portray themselves as perpetual victims, harking back to the days of slave wages and unhealthy working conditions.  Bob Beckel on “The Five” just ranted about how the violence is justified for that very reason – because of past injustices.  Give me a break.  So once a victim always a victim?  Couldn’t everyone be considered a victim today?  Frankly, I am permanently mentally distressed because of four more years of Obama.  I don’t think I can work anymore.  I’m shrugging.  Here’s a great article sent to me by HDR reader Steve about how the victim mentality is being perpetuated.  You’ll find the perpetuators interesting, but likely not surprising:  New Psychiatry Manual Adds To The Oversupply Of Invented Victims

Thugs losing.  Michigan Right to Work Hitting Union Stronghold  “Regardless of news reports, the people of Michigan are behind this. A recent poll showed that 51 percent of Michigan voters support right-to-work. Only 41 percent are opposed. In fact, 40 percent of union households supported it. In November, Michigan voters rejected a ballot proposal that would have amended the state constitution to prevent the legislature from passing a right-to-work law and elevated union contracts above state law.”

MUST WATCH!  Steven Crowder assaulted by union thugs…who claim they are victims (see story below about the tent torn down by these neanderthals.  I hope Crowder sues their fat cat a$$es!)

MUST READ!  TOP SIX VIOLENT ACTS COMMITTED BY UNIONS  Lots of great videos embedded here.

Thug-in-Chief doesn’t let a good crisis go to waste:  Obama Jumps Headfirst Into Fight Over Michigan Right-to-Work Law  “You know, these so-called right-to-work laws, they don’t have to do with economics, they have everything to do with politics,” Obama added to applause and cheers from the crowd. “What they’re really talking about is giving you the right to work for less money.” Sure, Preezy.

OOPS!!!  Meltdown of Subsidized Battery Maker Zaps Obama Detroit Visit  “Assuming a bankruptcy judge and the Obama Treasury Department approve of the sale of A123’s assets to Wanxiang Group, the Chinese battery maker would immediately become the dominant force in the industry.”

Not a victim, but plays one on TV:  The Royal Presidency  “In the Brokest Nation in History, it would be unreasonable to expect the president to pretend to have a regular all-American family Christmas for less than five million bucks.”

Not a victim, but creates REAL victims:  Egypt’s Torturer-in-Chief Headed to Washington  “On Monday, Yasser Ali announced that Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi will visit the United States in 2013, in what would be his first visit to Washington since he was elected last June.”

Hump Day Report: Four More Days, Four More Days!

ALOHA, ALL!!  REPORTS ARE THAT THE POLLS HAVE TIGHTENED AND THE RACE IS DEAD EVEN.  I don’t believe the hype.  While Obama’s visibility during the Hurricane Sandy crisis may give him a little bump (gee thanks, Chris Christie) it won’t make any difference in the election.  And Romney could do two things to really put this away:  1) go on The O’Reilly Factor and 2) start hammering Obama on Benghazi.  But it looks like Obama’s fairy dust and unicorns speech in New Jersey was all talk…no surprise.  Hey Barry – you said no “red tape!”  Union Red Tape in NJ Turns Around Alabama Recover Crew  BTW, my blogging friend NEO had a great post on this today…he knows a little bit about utilities and unions.  Check it Out:  Nebraska Energy Observer  But the NYC Marathon goes on.  Seriously?  No wonder “Let Them Eat Cake” Bloomberg endorsed Obama.  He’s clueless.

The story that WE won’t let go away.  Benghazi Consulate Determined in August That It Might Not Withstand Coordinated Attack  and  Fox News Finds Benghazi Smoking Gun, Raises Serious Questions  “The cable concluded that the consulate could not withstand a “coordinated attack.” Further, the cable identified terrorist groups that were operating in the area. The existence of this document raises some serious questions.”  Yet another twist:  Benghazi Reveals Obama/Islamist Alliance  “The nature of the Benghazi disaster is now clear. Ambassador Stevens was engaged in smuggling sizable quantities of Libyan arms from the destroyed Gaddafi regime to the Syrian rebels, to help overthrow the Assad regime in Syria.”

Meanwhile, the spin on today’s jobs report is unbelievable! The lamestream media are doing there best to paint a happy face on it.  Here’s what you need to know:  Unemployment Rate Inches Back Up In November

You’ve heard about Bloomberg’s and Powell’s endorsements, but what about these guys??  Romney Touts Support From CEOs – On Obama’s Jobs Council  “Lest we all forget that Jeff Immelt — CEO of General Electric and chief of President Obama’s specially-appointed and now dusty-from-disuse Council on Jobs and Competitiveness — announced in August that he intends to vote for Mitt Romney over our incumbent president…”

FINAL THOUGHT (Shaka to Rose Marie): “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America ‘s debt weakens us domestically and internationally.  Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
