Hump Day Report: The Man Who Will Be President

ALOHA, ALL!!!  I’m in a foreign country again….this time it’s Hong Kong.  Bad timing since I’ll miss the GOP convention.  This is the GOP’s and Romney’s chance to shine – the introduction of Romney/Ryan to the country.  The media keep talking about how Romney needs to show America who he is – he needs to give them insight into his family life and show a more personal side.  (Funny thing – I never heard them say that in 2008 about Barack Obama, who we still know very little about.)  As for Romney, all they need to see is this:  

After watching this video, there is no way people can say this man and his family would not be great role models for our country!  Well, they could say that but they’d look like fools.  Today, people think the Kardashians are normal and it’s OK to idolize the lifestyles of the various ridiculous “housewives” shows.  Wrong.  I’ve always said they we shouldn’t idolize leaders, and I feel the same about Romney.  He’s a human being.  But he’s exactly what we need at this time in our country’s history, not just because of his presidential leadership abilities but because of his family life.  Fire Obama – Hire Romney.

In Other News:

The ‘Republican” Women For Obama Are Democrats   “Well, at least one of the women in this ad isn’t Republican, and none of them are conservative. Also really misleading is the argument that if you’re for “small government” you should vote for Obama, since he won’t deprive you of your right to abort your baby in the 9th month of pregnancy. Family values, you know.”

Thomas Sowell likes “2016.”  A Powerful Movie  “Years, and sometimes decades, pass between my visits to movie theaters. But I drove 30 miles to see the movie “2016,” based on Dinesh D’Souza’s best-selling book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.” Where I live is so politically correct that such a movie would not even be mentioned, much less shown.”

“2016” – The Little Movie That Could  Fair And Truthful’  “Over the weekend, the anti-Barack Obama documentary did stellar business as it expanded nationwide, grossing $6.3 million from 1,091 theaters and beating three other new films. Obama’s America posted a per screen average of $5,717, the best location average of any film in the top 10.”

The Story the Media Won’t Tell:  Obama Is Losing  “It’s 8:21 on a Saturday morning and according to this photo snapped by Sharon Broadie, this is the size of the crowd that showed up in Powell, Ohio, (just outside of Columbus) to see Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan…”  (Note:  I’ve been to Powell Ohio numerous times – it’s very close to where I grew up.  The crowd was 5,000 people – HUGE for the village green where the event took place.  I think it was only 5,00 because they couldn’t fit any more.  Oh yeah – where are the teleprompters?????)  

And he’s a sore loser.  Obama To Email Supporters:  If I Lose It’s Your Fault  “Today, President Obama sent out a campaign email essentially blaming his supporters if he loses. See, he’s supposedly being outspent. And because he’s supposedly being outspent, he’s losing. And he can’t spend more money unless his supporters fork it over.”

Final Thought:  “I don’t have as much time to campaign this time as I did in 2008, so this whole thing is riding on you making it happen.” Barack Obama, in campaign email. Sent 8/26/2012.  Not sure what part of that sentence is the most laughable.
