Hump Day Report: Speak Out – No Fear!

ALOHA, ALL!!  When you’re in a group of people, do you talk about Obama’s miserable record?  I know – the response might be eye-rolling, push-back or worse.  So what?  I most often hear “no politics!”  These are usually Obama supporters who don’t want to admit what a horrible job he’s doing.  Try saying, “I know – it’s really depressing what’s happened to our country in the past 4 years – let’s eat!” and leave it at that.  If it prompts more discussion, you’re in.  If not, you’ve gotten your message across anyhow.  Remember, though, that between now and November 6 we need to speak up.  I’ve given you tons of resources to use…facts that Obamabots will be hard pressed to deny (they’ll try anyhow and start personal attacks or get all emotional.  They always do.)  If you’re reticent to speak up, here are a couple of stories that will inspire you:

No Fear!  GOP Convention To Feature Former Obama Co-Chair Artur Davis  “Former congressman Artur Davis from Alabama, who officially seconded President Obama’s nomination at the 2008 Democratic convention, said on Wednesday that he will cap off a remarkable political metamorphosis by addressing the Republican convention this year — calling for Obama’s defeat.”  Here’s Davis reacting to Slow Joe Biden’s “chains” comment:  

No Fear!  Arizona Makes Another Stand For Rule Of Law On Immigration  “On Thursday, Governor Jan Brewer enraged the White House, the ACLU and open-borders activists by issuing Executive Order 2012-06, stating that her state reaffirmed the intent of Arizona law on state benefits — from driver’s licenses to in-state college tuition — to illegals, which is a big fat “no” to all of the above.”

Rarely in our history have we faced so many challenges abroad with so little success — or so little respect.”  Of course, Barry denies all claims that he’s throwing Joe under the bus:  White House Says Obama Will Stick With Biden  But then there’s this (Shaka to Carl):  Biden Sent Home To Delaware To Start Weekend Early  (BTW, hubby thinks Sarah Palin & John McCain saying that Biden needs to be replaced is brilliant strategy – if he’s replaced now, it will look like Obama is taking advice from them!!)  What say you?

Ryan has energized the ticket.  Wisconsin:  Romney 48%, Obama 47%  And:  After Picking Ryan, Romney Leads In Ohio, Virginia  And:  Romney/Ryan Making Huge Gains Among Young Voters  “For the first time since he began running for president, Republican Mitt Romney has the support of over 40 percent of America’s youth vote…”

Hump Day Report: We’re Thugs. We Rule. Now Hand Over The Cash

ALOHA, ALL!  The fallout from the SCOTUS ruling on the Arizona immigration law continues.  You thought once SCOTUS ruled it would be the law of the land?  How silly of you – this is the age of Obama; the Chicago way; the Rule of Thugs.  Both the Department of (in)Justice and and Department of Homeland (in)Security immediately instituted policies to undermine Arizona’s right to crack down on illegals.

Big Sis Napolitano’s DHS rescinded [what are called the 287(g)] agreements with seven Arizona police departments.  These serve to partner local police with the federal government on immigration enforcement. Federal immigration officials were also directed not to respond to local traffic stops or law-enforcement encounters that result in the identification of an illegal immigrant in Arizona unless the detained person is a recent border crosser, has already been removed from the country and reentered the United States unlawfully, or is a convicted criminal.  White House a Sore Winner on AZ Ruling

Meanwhile, Big Brother’s DOJ has set up a special hotline for individuals to report  suspected “civil rights violations” and “law enforcement abuse” in Arizona.  Gee….you think this might bait people into reporting frivolous claims?  OMG – Obama Must Go!  Brewer Calls Obama’s DOJ Hotline An “Assault”
