ALOHA, ALL!! I was going to let this pass but just can’t. We keep hearing how “brilliant” Barack 0bama is. I’ve said all along that he’s not….he’s just handled well (especially by a fawning press.) So get this: 0bama gave an interview with Univision on Wednesday where he emphasized his support of the DREAM Act and other programs for illegals. He also railed against Republicans (SHOCK!) and said he really wasn’t campaigning until they have a nominee (what a liar!) But here’s the best part: ”I’ll let them determine who their standard bear is going to be…” It’s in quotes because yes, that’s exactly what he said. So we have a President who thinks there are 57 states. Who doesn’t know the difference between an inhaler and a breathalyzer. He thinks our military has corpse men. And now he thinks there’s something called a standard bear? What’s next…maybe he thinks gym class is named after some guy named Jim?

1) Obama’s “Forced” Keystone Decision Rejects Jobs, Energy, and Logic
- Obama’s decision to reject Keystone sent a clear message that special interest demands are of more importance than more energy and much-needed job creation.
- Building the pipeline would bring over 700,000 barrels of oil per day and directly create 20,000 truly shovel-ready jobs.
- The Canadian Energy Research Institute estimates that current pipeline operations and the addition of the Keystone XL pipeline would create 179,000 American jobs by 2035.
- Keystone XL also met 57 specific pipeline safety standard requirements created by DOS and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).
- Senators Max Baucus (D–MT), Jon Tester (D–MT), Joe Manchin (D–WV), Ben Nelson (D–NE), Mark Begich (D–AK), and Mary Landrieu (D–LA) have all expressed support for the pipeline.
- The President’s own jobs council underscored the need for not only more oil, natural gas, and coal but also energy infrastructure project
2) Under Obama, Oil and Gas Production on Federal Lands Is Down 40%.
- The vast majority of America’s oil and gas production is happening on private lands in states like North Dakota, Alaska and Texas.
- Oil and natural gas production on federal lands is down by more than 40 percent compared to 10 years ago.
- Under the Obama administration, 2010 had the lowest number of onshore leases issued since 1984
- The Obama administration held only one offshore lease sale in 2011.

Valerie Jarrett spoke at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and basically gave a campaign speech for Barry/Barack: This administration thinks rules don’t apply to them! They also held a voter registration drive immediately following Jarrett’s speech in direct violation of this:
Voter education or registration activities with evidence of bias that (a) would favor one candidate over another; (b) oppose a candidate in some manner; or (c) have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates, will constitute prohibited participation or intervention.

ALOHA, ALL!! Will Congress halt 0bama’s incessant power grab? He has thumbed his nose at the Constitution so many times it’s difficult to keep track. Then again, that’s part of the plan – overwhelm the system. What 0bama is doing with his unconstitutional actions is similar to the old adage: tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth. 0bama claims he needs to do these things because of the “do-nothing” Congress. In reality, he is ruling by fiat. The Heritage Foundation has put together a current list of all the ways 0bama and his administration have acted outside their scope of powers. The four appointments last week were flat-out illegal: Obama’s Arrogant Authoritarianism Begging the question: What are you gonna do about it, Congress?
