An obscure November 2012 Wikileaks email dump points to former White House counterterrorism adviser and now-CIA chief John Brennan as the person behind the “witch hunt” of journalists who reported unflattering Obama administration leaks.

A little over a week after President Barack Obama’s reelection, Wikileaks released an email dump of global intelligence files from the private intelligence company Stratfor. One particular email, dated September 21, 2010 discussed President Obama’s “Leak Investigations.”

The Massachusetts ACLU tweeted out a link that referenced the email and the president’s “war on whistleblowers” on November 15, 2012. The tweet only received two re-tweets after sitting online for seven months. Stratfor’s VP for Intelligence, Fred Burton, declined to comment for this story.
The Obama administration has faced criticism not only for seizing phone records of 20 Associated Press reporters but also monitoring private emails and phone calls of Fox News Reporter James Rosen.
The story began to unfold when documents related to an investigation of former State Department contractor Stephen Jin-Woo Kim were recently released. Kim was accused of violating the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking classified information to Rosen.
According to a legal filing, the Washington Post reported the Obama Justice Department described the Fox News reporter as a an “aider, and abettor, and/or co-conspirator” in the case.
The public filing shows the first defense letter was filed in the case seven days before the September 21 Stratfor email regarding Brennan’s “witch hunt” on investigative journalists was sent.

Payback Time?

Yesterday I wrote about the movie “Hating Breitbart” and how you all should see it.  My Facebook friend and conservative (yes, you read that right – conservative) Hollywood guy Jason Jones put together this little image for me when I told him my favorite line from the movie – LOVE IT!!

IS THERE ANY DOUBT WE NEED CITIZEN JOURNALISTS??  The news today about more conservatives with targets on their backs from this administration is chilling.  James Rosen of Fox News and at least two others were targeted because they were doing their jobs? There is a coordinated effort on behalf of this administration to go after its “enemies” – people who don’t agree with them.  And we need to look no further than Valerie Jarrett to figure out who’s pulling the strings.  I have NO DOUBT that she is orchestrating ALL of this, along with the rest of the Chicago cabal of Axelrod and Plouff.  But guess what, Valerie?  Payback time hasn’t even started yet.

What will it take?

As you go through these and the headlines of other news you read daily, it is useful to remember if you are over 50 that the charges being levied against Barrack Obama are at least equal to those against Richard Nixon. Yes, some have not been proven with a ‘smoking gun.’ The IRS scandal, for instance. However, and repeating history again, Nixon did not actually get the IRS to cooperate with his attack on enemies. He resigned when it was shown he had attempted to do so. That so many groups and individuals have already come out and shown they were audited or prevented from organizing under 501(c)(4), it appears there was a massive (and successful) operation to suppress the vote.

And if bold faced lies about serious matters like the IRS scandal, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, or spying on reporters, are your forte, Barry has been caught dishing them out almost unchallenged. Eventually the weight of those lies, if not the rapidity of them, will be sufficient to begin calls for his removal. Joe Biden be damned. It is that serious.

Finally, the nation is now squarely in dangerous times. Despite the uncovering of rampant corruption and intimidation at the highest levels of government, leaders in both parties are trying to quickly pass legislation that could add up to 33 million currently illegal immigrants into an already over-taxed social welfare system that includes hospitals, schools, law enforcement, and food stamps, to name just a few. Stopping this juggernaut with insufficient protections to our border needs opposition similar to Obamacare, with a reminder to those representatives and senators that would vote for it that it will cost them their jobs. Obama’s corruption isn’t a distraction, but it makes focus on this potential sea change all the more important. It is very Alinsky-like to use multiple crises to take people’s attention away from things.

BTW…if you haven’t seen “Hating Breitbart,” SEE IT!!!!  It finally came to Hawaii for a limited engagement.  Breitbart was a fearless warrior and we should all learn from him.  Favorite Breitbart line from the movie:  ”I embrace confrontation and you should, too!  It’s the only way we can win.”  AMEN.  (*NOTE:  ”Due” is the number two in Italian)

Here we go again.

With today’s Sunday network talk shows we can see the time-worn Clintonian strategy (insert: old story, irrelevant, no there, there, etc.) developing right before our eyes. It only works through cooperation of democrats and media opinion shapers.

Because Obama is a left wing liberal (a mild description) the media will only go so far with uncovering all his corruption (don’t forget, they leaked on themselves about IRS, likely to take heat off Benghazi). Even now, far left and left-of center news organizations are asking the ‘are-we-being-too-tough-on-Obama?’ questions. And if polls don’t move toward a compelling reason to investigate the corruption the heavy lifting will fall to the Republicans. And we know how they can be accused of conducting a ‘witch hunt.’ 

A similar pattern emerged during Watergate. The average Joe supported Nixon. But the constant drone of media personalities like Daniel Shore, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, and others eventually changed perceptions that led to Nixon’s fall. Don’t forget, Nixon won re-election with 49 of 50 states in the 1972 election. Two years later, the US media helped remove him from office, heralding the era of ‘investigative’ journalism.

It may just work. Ever see the twisted relationships between Obama and the media? Like a revolving door! And there is a lot of off-the-record spinning going on between the administration with sympathic reporters. Even this week, the New York Times was caught red handed changing a headline showing the WH knew about these IRS abuses before the 2012 election, only to have that changed to words to the effect that the ‘GOP is savoring the attack.’ Not even subtle bias. 

So, unless there are more revelations, count on this being a long hot summer. And don’t be frustrated if you notice the media back to carrying Obama’s water. Afterall, exposing him and his entire agenda as corruption personified will be painful for those most sympathetic to the cause.

Is Obama inept or corrupt?  Either one is an outrage.  Great article:  President Corrupt or President Inept?  Check out this regarding Sarah Hall Ingram’s (aka Church Lady) successor at the IRS:  ”…Ingram’s successor and the fall guy for this scandal is Joseph Grant, who was “appointed as commissioner of the tax-exempt office May 8, a week ago.” Grant announced on May 16 that he would retire on June 3. ABC News went so far as to write that Grant “is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012.” In other words, the lady responsible for this travesty is secure in her Obamacare-related post while Grant loses his job.”  Appointed a week ago and retiring June 3????????  Prediction:  once Barry and his crew are finally out of Washington, we will see a spate of books about the ineptitude of this administration like we have never seen.

This should be interesting.  Issa Subpoenas Pickering  Looks like “Must See TV” on Thursday!
