Hump Day Report: Fair Is Fair?

ALOHA, ALL!! So what’s fair? According to our “brilliant” President, everything in this country needs to be fair in order for people to succeed. Really? Were things fair for the Pilgrims who came to the New World to start a new life? Were things fair for the millions of LEGAL immigrants who came here in the early to mid-twentieth century and made successful lives for themselves? Who determines “fairness?” 0bama wants to be the arbiter of what’s fair by making government even bigger….the nanny state….Marxism. King Barry. He doesn’t understand that the inalienable right in the Constitution is “…the pursuit of happiness” not “happiness.” #WeCan’tWait for 2012 – then we’ll be happy indeed!!!!

Barry shows his cards. Obama: Limited Gov’t That Preserves Free Markets ‘Doesn’t Work. It Has Never Worked’ | CNSnews.com “…President Barack Obama argued that while a limited government that preserves free markets “speaks to our rugged individualism” as Americans, such a system “doesn’t work” and “has never worked” and that Americans must look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.” And this: The Last Incarnation of Barack Obama

If this was seventy years ago, we’d all be in shock. (We should still be in shock, but for different reasons.) Many of our loved ones would either be dead or heading off to war. What a difference several decades make: Pearl Harbor veterans remember how paradise suddenly turned into hell – Common American Journal

Isn’t it time for someone to go to jail??? Fast and Furious document dump: Shocking lawlessness exposed – Common American Journal “Newly released documents on Operation Fast and Furious met with little media comment on Friday. The latest document dump by the Justice Department reveals how top DOJ officials hesitated and struggled to respond to questions asked by members of House and Senate committees probing the law enforcement-firearms snafu. The documents also revealed that Justice Department officials provided faulty data and inaccurate information to U.S. lawmakers such as Rep. Darryl Issa (R-CA).”

New Fast and Furious website: Fast and Furious Investigation “House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today launched a new website – http://www.FastAndFuriousInvestigation.com – to explain and serve as a resource for the congressional investigation into the Justice Department’s Operation Fast and Furious….The site will webcast today’s Judiciary Committee hearing.”

ICYMI: 25 House-Passed Jobs Bills Stuck in the Democratic-Run Senate “The House passed three more common-sense jobs bills last week, bringing the current number of jobs bills awaiting a vote in the Democratic-controlled Senate to 25. Each of these bills is focused on removing government barriers – excessive regulations, the threat of tax hikes, and ‘stimulus’ spending policies – that are hurting job growth, and many have bipartisan support. Speaker Boehner has called on President Obama to “urge Senate Democrats to immediately vote” on the 25 jobs bills before them.”

I don’t think Barry’s too happy about this site. New REINS Act Website Takes On Red Tape & the President’s “Economic Uncertainty Machines” “Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY) launched a new website today highlighting the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, legislation designed to eliminate excessive regulations and red tape that are holding back job growth.” The REINS Act is on the GOP agenda this week but the site was actually launched in June…check it out! UPDATE: REINS ACT PASSED THE HOUSE YESTERDAY. HERE’S WHY IT’S IMPORTANT:

The Debt Generation – are they waking up?

Final Thought: “It is less important to redistribute wealth than it is to redistribute opportunity.”— Arthur Vandenberg, American journalist and senator (1884-1951)

This is good, too! “Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian.”— Dennis Wholey, 20th/21st-century self-help author and journalist
