Hump Day Report: If It’s Not A Tax, It’s Not Constitutional

ALOHA, ALL!!  On Wednesday, the ObamaCare Tax comes up for a repeal vote in the House.  Of course, it will be a symbolic vote since it will likely carry in the GOP-controlled House, but fail in the Dem-controlled Senate (that is, if Prince Harry Reid even decides to even put it forward.)  But the vote is important:  it puts Representatives on record regarding their support of the largest tax increase in American history.  Here’s one of the best analyses I’ve seen on how the GOP should  effectively use the ObamaCare Tax as a campaign issue:  The Achilles Heel of Obamacare and Obama – Pat Caddell  “Let Democrats vote in favor of more IRS power in 2012, now that everyone knows that the beating heart of Obamacare is ObamaTax. So one more time: Republicans should seize on the ObamaTax issue–and the entire package of taxes–to remind the voters that the Democrats misled the public in 2010, and, indeed, they are misleading the public still. Taxes are the anvil on which to hammer the Democrats. And dishonesty is that hammer. It’s the tax issue that resonates, twinned inevitably, of course, with the trust issue.”  And:  If Obamacare Isn’t Repealed, How Will It Affect You?

This doctor in Scottsdale has had enough. We’ll be seeing a lot more of these if we don’t elect a GOP majority in Congress and fire Obama.

In Other News…

Another important vote in the House this week.  House GOP Looks To speed US Mining of Rare-Earth Minerals  “The House is poised to pass legislation (HR 4402) aimed at streamlining the approval process for permits to mine for rare-earth minerals, a bill that responds to increased demand for rare earths around the world, as well as China’s export restraints for these minerals.”

Beanbags.  Yeah, that should work.  Outrage:  Eric Holder Disarmed Brian Terry While Arming His Killers     (Shaka to Carl for the link) “For the first time, federal officials revealed Monday that murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and an elite squad of federal agents first fired bean bags — not bullets — at a heavily armed drug cartel crew in the mountains south of Tucson in December 2011.”

Just when you thought she couldn’t look any more ridiculous.….Debbie Dimwit raises/lowers the bar!  First, on why she hasn’t released her tax returns even thought she keeps pushing Romney to release more than he has.

Next, she says she’s pretty “happy” with how we’re doing on the jobs front.    Ah Debbie……time to retire.

Sound like a broken record?  It turns out the Obama administration has been telling us to “not read too much into one monthly jobs report”  more than once.  Like about 41 times (shaka to Carl, again):  Broken Record, Broken Promises  “But after 41 straight months of unemployment over 8%, you don’t have to read between the lines to see the truth. President Obama’s policies have failed to get America working again.” #obamaisntworking

His kind of town….Chicago is. In Obama’s Chicago, A Trayvon Martin Every Day   “When more Americans are killed in the president’s hometown than in Afghanistan, even the media take notice. When will the president notice the carnage in the city run by his former chief of staff?”

Final Thought:

OBAMA: My critics say everything is a tax increase. My critics say that I’m taking over every sector of the economy. You know that. Look, we can have a legitimate debate about whether or not we’re going to have an individual mandate or not, but …

STEPHANOPOULOS: But you reject that it’s a tax increase?

OBAMA: I absolutely reject that notion.

Hump Day Report: Malia Does Mexico

My kids are off-limits! Unless..."

ALOHA, ALL!!!  So with all the news this week, here’s a blockbuster story you never heard:  Malia Obama took a Spring Break vacation to Mexico.  I know….why such a big deal?  Well, it MUST be a big deal because all the news outlets have either hidden or scrapped the story!  Why would they do that, you say?  Think about it:  the country is suffering through a bad economy.  Gas prices are ridiculously high.  Unemployment and under-employment remain troubling.  The deficit is at all-time high.  Yet Barry is out promoting himself as one of the people …the best hope to get us out of our slump.  Can you imagine if after reporting one of his fundraiser, er, energy speeches the next news story showed Malia tanning on a Mexican beach?  (Oh, by the way, you’re paying for Malia to frolic in the sun with her friends and 25 Secret Service agents.)  What’s troubling is that this story was initially reported and then scrubbed from numerous sites (so much for the most transparent administration in history.)  OK…kids are off-limits?  Then why does Barry trot them out when it’s to his political advantage (like the smiling family on the cover of a magazine) but squashes a story that might make he and his family look out-of-touch?  Oh yeah….Mexico?????  Would you let your teenaged daughter go there for Spring break?  I guess if a couple dozen armed agents went along for the ride….  The Troubling Things The Malia Obama Spring Break Story Reveal – Investors.com

Here’s the explanation from the WH as to why the stories were scrubbed:  White House Admits to Asking Malia Story to be Pulled | TheBlaze.com  So there you go:  your tax dollars at play.  25 Secret Service people (and you know it’s more than just that we’re paying for.)

More family news – Michelle Obama: President’s Grandmother, VP of ‘Little Bitty Community Bank,’ Faced Gender Bias   Seriously???  Quit the lies already!!!!!  “The Washington Post and The New York Times reported last year that Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, had been the first female vice president of the Bank of Hawaii….Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, left him stock in the Bank of Hawaii valued at almost $500,000 at the time of her death in November 2008, the tax return shows,” said the Post.”

Barry’s younger years.  A story surfaced last week about how a young Barack Obama was supported by Bill Ayers parents to attend Harvard.  Sound outrageous?  NOTHING sounds outrageous to me anymore!  Postman: Ayers family put ‘foreigner’ Obama through school  “A retired U.S. Postal Service carrier who delivered mail to Tom and Mary Ayers in a Chicago suburb in the late 1980s and early 1990s and claims to have met Obama in front of the Ayers home emphatically says yes to all three questions.”

"I'm just a poor foreign exchange student whose grandmother was the first female Vice President of Bank of Hawaii. Of course, my grandparents were also racists."

He was OWS before it was cool!  Note the language Obama uses in this 1995 interview.  The Vetting: Obama 1995: ‘Scapegoat’ the ‘Top 5%’  “In an environment of scarcity, where the cost of living is rising, folks begin to get angry and bitter and look for scapegoats. Historically, instead of looking at the top 5% of this country that controls all the wealth, we turn towards each other, and the Republicans have added to the fire.”

Ya Gotta Have Friends!  Biden, Wasserman Schultz, Holder and Axelrod are way up there with Barry and it’s easy to see why:

White House Backs Biden’s Claim That Killing Bin Laden Was Boldest Mission in ‘500 Years’ | CNSNews.com  “The White House asserted that Vice President Joe Biden did not misspeak when he said, “you can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan,” referring to President Barack Obama’s decision to kill Osama bin Laden.”

DNC Debbie’s Islamist Lie | FrontPage Magazine  “According to announcements which were placed on the website of EMERGE USA last month, Debbie Wasserman Schultz had been scheduled to give the Keynote Address at the group’s annual fundraising banquet, which was to be held in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale North, on April 21st.”

Holder Concealed Evidence Of Gunrunner’s Release | Dickmorris.com  “The fast and furious story gained momentum in Washington after it has emerged that Attorney General Eric Holder failed to turn over to Congressional investigators evidence that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms has released Manuel Acosta – a kingpin in the illegal weapons trade of the drug cartels – from custody in return for a vague promise of” cooperation” which he failed to keep.”

Last but not least – Axelrod.  He’s about as slimy as they come.  I actually watched this without the sound (I saw it live when Brett Baier interviewed him.)  Note the body language…what a liar!  “The theater of politics” indeed!

Final Thought:  “So I just …Sit right here and have another beer in Mexico; Do my best to waste another day; Sit right here and have another beer in Mexico; Let the warm air melt these blues away.” Kenny Chesney
