Hump Day Report: Props to a Badger and a Gator

Even Woody would like these guys

ALOHA, ALL!!  Faithful HDR readers know I’m a staunch Buckeye – I bleed scarlet & gray!  But today I gotta give shakas to people from two rival territories:  Scott Walker from Wisconsin and Tim Tebow from Florida.  YOU GUYS ROCK!! Net Gain of 33,000 jobs in Wisconsin in Scott Walker’s First Year  “Barrett’s campaign is accusing Walker of cherry-picking data and playing politics by accelerating the publication of the CEW results. However, the accusation of cherry-picking is nonsense. The CEW is an actual census of employers in the state, not a survey based on a sample of households.”  But some people are very unhappy with Walker – his opponents:  Pro Scott Walker Signs Burned On Private Property   Nice.  If you can’t beat ’em, torch ’em!  Here’s why they’re not happy, poor babies:  Walker, Kleefisch Lead In Recall  June 5 – GO WALKER!! Ten Tips for Tim Tebow  “A good, God fearing man, born to Christian missionaries, comes to New York to help the team win. How will he handle the Big City, and will the media give him a chance?”  GO TEBOW! In Other News: Team Romney WILL beat Team Obama.  Here’s why:    Romney’s team is smart – they are staying positive and focused.  They refuse to get pulled into the mire of what Super PACs might do (the PACs will do whatever they want anyhow.) Then there’s this.  Obama in Tight Primary Race in Arkansas   Yep….right in Clinton Country he’s only 7 points ahead of an unknown!  And here’s how Team Romney is using this:  “Seeking to attract Democrats and independents who supported the last Democratic president, Romney has taken to lavishing praise at every turn on Clinton’s boom-era ’90s policies while contrasting them unfavorably with President Barack Obama’s old-school, Big Government ways.”  I repeat….Team Romney WILL beat Team Obama.   Obama budget voted down.  Again.  99-0.  A Glimmer of Hope for the American Dream  “Compare the President’s proposal — and Reid’s total lack of a proposal — with the four plans offered by conservatives in Congress, chief among them being Senator Mike Lee’s (R-UT) budget, which mirrors the bold and thorough reforms The Heritage Foundation first proposed in its Saving the American Dream plan. That includes limiting the size of the federal government, reforming entitlement programs, and simplifying the federal tax code in an effort to restore our nation’s economic prosperity and ensure that future generations are not saddled with today’s debt.” Harry Reid – epic FAIL!  Senate Rejects Five Budget Plans  “Democrats can’t even put a plan on a piece of paper,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican. “As far as I can tell, their only plan is to take shots at our plans and hope nobody notices that they don’t have one of their own.” The votes, he said, will show the public “who’s got a plan to fix the mess we’re in and who doesn’t.” WHY ARE WE STILL BUYING OIL FROM VENEZUELA??  Dick Morris explains in this video how Iran is shipping missiles to Chavez – missiles that can easily strike the US.   The story that just won’t go away.  I wonder why?  Proof Obama Born in Kenya?  Obama Literary Agent Says So  “Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”  UPDATE:  Literary Agent Now Claims “Fact-Checking Error.”   OK…so why did Obama say  “I am so proud to come back home”?  While speaking in Kenya in 2006????  Is this also a “fact-checking error?”   GREAT video from Susan B Anthony List!   Final Thought:  “Any time you give a man something he doesn’t earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect.” Woody Hayes

    Great Post

My Black and Old Gold blood will have to second you Giliar. But its the conference, I think, 11 Schools who know what exellence is. How about a couple of late additions: Yellowjacket and Cardinal (How’d he sneak in here, anyway) Richard Mourdock and Cornhusker Deb Fischer.

Good final thought, too. Here’s mine for today:
