Hump Day Report: Depends On What Your Definition Of “Fairness” Is

Are you ready to hear about fairness until you want to puke?  I hope so, because make no mistake – Barry will make this election about class warfare and “paying your fair share.”  It’s typical Alinsky….ignoring the true causes of our problems while ginning up a fake narrative.  Of course, it helps if the narrative is emotive and strikes at the core of people’s decency.  After all, who doesn’t want to be fair??  But the liberals/”progressives” define “fairness” quite differently than conservatives do.  I heard Greg Gutfeld say the other day that the difference between conservatives and liberals is really quite simple:  conservatives want the poor to be rich and liberals want the rich to be poor.  (Lib leaders are OK with that as long as they personally  as Nomenklatura can keep as much wealth as they want.)  So in preparation for the onslaught of fairness speeches to come, check out this editorial from the Wall Street Journal.  It uncovers the hypocrisy of 0bama’s “fairness.”  (Shaka to Susie for the link.)  Stephen Moore: A Fairness Quiz for the President –

The rules don’t apply – how is this “fair?”  For Dems, No One ‘Plays By the Same Rules’ | FrontPage Magazine  ” From game-rigging health-care waivers and crony-capitalist “green energy” boondoggles, to class-warfare tax policies and different sets of standards based on one’s race and/or gender, America has at least one political party dedicated to the idea that a meritocratic society can only be achieved, ironically as it sounds, by lots of Americans playing by different sets of rules.”

The “fairness” in 0bama’s budget.  The strange budget priorities of Obama: Subsidizing car purchases for the 1% over poor children and airline safety « Hot Air  “If we are going to spend money, why are we spending it to subsidize the purchases of vehicles by people averaging $170,000 a year in salary rather than on commercial flight security, which is an actual federal responsibility?”

It’s Aloha Friday – time for NewsBusted!

It’s NOT the economy, stupid?  Medved to GOP: Make Campaign About Big Government, Not the Economy |  “Instead of asking, “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” they should ask, “Is government bigger now than it was four years ago? Is government spending more? Is the debt worse?” Medved told the audience.”

Looks like law school grads aren’t better off.  A Bunch of Young Lawyers are Suing Their Law Schools Because They Don’t Have Jobs – Yahoo! Finance  “A total of 75 alumni have filed at least 15 class-action lawsuits across the country, accusing their law schools of inflating employment and salary data to attract prospective students.”  Ha Ha Ha – the irony of this one really made me laugh!!  (Shaka to Lee for the link.)

Like father like son.  JFK’s teen mistress in explosive new tell-all –  “In her explosive new tell-all, “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath,” Alford, now a 69-year-old grandmother and retired New York City church administrator, sets the record straight in searingly candid detail.”

Final Thought:  “Fairness through leveling is the essence of Obamaism.”  Charles Krauthammer

(NOTE:  Lots of traveling in the next couple of weeks so I won’t be blogging as regularly.  Gotta work so I can pay my “fair share.”)
