Hump Day Report: Vote Early, Vote Often

English: A photo of young Al Capone with his m...

ALOHA, ALL!!  You’ve heard the phrase before.  And aren’t its origins interesting?  “The cynical phrases “Vote early — and often” and “Vote early — and vote often” are variously attributed to three different Chicagoans: Al Capone, the famous gangster; Richard J. Daley, mayor from 1955 to 1976; and William Hale Thompson, mayor from 1915-1923 and 1931-1935. All three were notorious for their corruption and their manipulation of the democratic process. It is most likely that Thompson invented the phrase, and Capone and Daley later repeated it.”  Fitting that we now have a President and his Democrat machine bred, based and honed in those very Chicago environs.  God help us.  Voter Fraud Could Decide Next Election  “A new report by Pew Center on the States estimates that among 24 million voter registrations, about one out of every eight are either no longer valid or are inaccurate. Of the invalid or inaccurate registrations, 1.8 million belong to deceased individuals and 2.75 million belong to people who are registered to vote in more than one state.”  (BTW, that’s young, sweet little Al Capone with his mother.)

These guys would feel right at home in Chicago.  Muslim Brotherhood: You’d best keep the aid money coming if you want that treaty with Israel intact « Hot Air  “Obama’s catastrophic new budget calls for maintaining the full $1.3 billion in military aid to Egypt next year along with $800 million in bribes — er, I mean, aid — for the rest of the Arab Spring. I’m curious what the Brotherhood’s game is here considering that poll from last week showing 71 percent of Egyptians oppose further U.S. foreign aid to the country.”

Godspeed, Judge!  Judge Napolitano’s final comments on ‘Freedom Watch’ – Common American Journal  Not sure why Andrew Napolitano’s show was cancelled, but hopefully he will stay on as a Fox News commentator.  His “Swan Song” is great….all except for the “Military Industrial Complex” remarks.  That’s where he and I part company.

Says it all!!

Shaka to Jackie for the image

WHERE’S BARRY?  Turns out he’s campaigning and fundraising again….on our dime.  He was in Wisconsin on Tuesday and California on Wednesday, where he gave this speech in front of adoring, wealthy donors:  Obama Says America More Respected Around World Under His Presidency  ““One of the proudest things of my three years in office is helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world…”  Proof positive that he lives in LaLa Land.

Since they respect us so much, we don’t need no stinkin’ weapons!  GOP protests idea of steep nuclear cuts – The Hill’s DEFCON Hill  “House Republicans said Wednesday they are opposed to plans to cut the nation’s nuclear arsenal by as much as 80 percent, one of a number of options the Obama administration is considering in a review of the U.S. nuclear arsenal.”  GREAT analysis:  Does Obama Want to Disarm America?

Stay out of our lunch boxes!  Mom’s Lunch Is Unhealthy, Say School Food Police –  “On Jan. 30, a preschooler at West Hoke Elementary School in Raeford, N.C., had three chicken nuggets for lunch because a state employee told her the lunch her mother packed was not nutritious. The girl’s turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, potato chips and apple juice did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. After consuming the approved nuggets, she was sent home with her mom-packed lunch and a bill from the school for $1.25.”  ALERT THE MEDIA – CHICKEN NUGGETS ARE MORE NUTRITIOUS THAN A TURKEY SANDWICH!!!  What a load of chips!

This response to nanny statism from Bill O’Reilly – watch the socialist stooge’s body language and listen carefully to his comments.  The American voters want these rules?????

Final Thought:  “Did you ever hear of as crazy a law as Kentucky has?  They make ’em wait 24 hours before counting the votes.  That’s to give the counters a chance to think it over and be honest.”  Will Rogers, November 7, 1930

Registered once in Ohio — my Hawaii registration was supposed to be automatically cancelled. But it wasn’t, when it came time for an election in Hawaii, I went to re-register and was told my registration was still in effect. Wonder if I can somehow register and vote in all 50 states? At least I’m not a dead person. This makes me sick.
