Hump Day Report: Mele Kalikimaka

ALOHA, ALL!!  People often ask me how we celebrate Christmas in Hawaii.  In fact, some are surprised to hear that we decorate houses, put up Christmas trees, have parades and pageants and more (there are also boat parades.)  So in celebration of the Christmas season, I’m sending you “The Twelve Days of Christmas” Hawaiian style.  This will give you a taste of how we put our own little twist on the holiday.

Oh Yeah….a Hawaii Christmas greeting wouldn’t be complete without this one!

And one more. Jim Nabors lives in Honolulu and the Honolulu Boy Choir is a true treasure (yes, they perform barefoot.)

Merry Christmas to all!  May you have a blessed and happy time with family and friends.  Happy Hanukkah, too (I have no idea how to say that in Hawaiian.)
