ALOHA, ALL!!  It sounds like being Warren Buffet’s secretary is a terrible job, right?  After all, she pays more taxes than her boss.  Even Warren – the so-called “Oracle of Omaha” – says so.  So it must be true.  But wait a minute – it turns out she doesn’t pay more in taxes:   AP fact check: Secretaries don’t pay more taxes than their bosses « Hot Air  Do Buffett and Obama really think we’re going to fall for this bunk??  But according to Barry, this isn’t class warfare.  Um….so choosing the example of a secretary and multi-billionaire mogul is just a coincidence? You’d think the folks at Levi’s would try to distance themselves from the rioting message, but quite the contrary:  ” Robert Hanson, global president of the Levi’s brand, told Reuters as recently as July that the company couldn’t help but see a correlation between unrest by young people across the globe and its “Go Forth” campaign.”  Brilliant – no more Levi’s for me!

Darrell Issa announced that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee would begin an investigation into the wireless startup LightSquared. On C-SPAN’s Washington Journal Tuesday morning, Issa, who chairs the Oversight Committee, named LightSquared along with the embattled solar energy company Solyndra as examples of “crony capitalism.” “I want to see when the president and his cronies are picking winners and losers,” he explained, “that it wasn’t because there were large contributions given to them.”  DARRELL ISSA = MY NEW HERO!!
