HDR 181: Not In 2012, Obama – We All Have Headaches!

Take Two Aspirin and Vote Him Out in 2012!

ALOHA, ALL!    Michele Bachmann gets migraines.  Big Whoop.  She has also raised 5 kids and 23 foster kids.  But she gets migraines.  She has served in Congress, worked as a tax attorney, and owned a small business.  But she gets migraines.  The lamestream media made such a big deal out of Bachmann’s headaches and the fact that an “unnamed source” claimed she was incapacitated by them.  So I’m wondering:  have we ever seen Barack Obama’s full medical record?  (It’s a rhetorical question – we have not.)  We do know that he smokes….holy Marlboro Man!  Shouldn’t we be concerned about  that???  Give me a break – the sexist media machine is at work once again, showing their disdain toward strong, conservative women.  I STILL say the election of Barack 0bama showed that Americans are indeed post-racial (or even too willing to give a person the benefit of the doubt because he’s non-white.)  Of course, some might validly argue that 0bama has set race relations back 20 years.  But sexism still abounds.  So I couldn’t care less about Bachmann’s migraines – I’m more concerned about the guy in the White House who’s causing us all to have a big, fat headache on a daily basis!

0bama thinks he has all the answers. Narcissist-in-Chief Isn’t Happy: Would be Easier If I Could Do This Debt Thing by Executive Order and By-Pass Those SOBs Boehner and Cantor – Common American Journal  “I’m sympathetic to your view that this would be easier if I could do this entirely on my own. It would mean all these conversations I’ve had over the last three weeks, I could have been spending time with Malia and Sasha instead,” President Obama said at a town hall.  TIME WITH MALIA AND SASHA?????  Give me a break – you’d be out on the golf course!

Speaking of headaches.  I actually saw this on Fox News the other day – it’s great!

Here’s a solution:  Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes I’ve heard in all this drama about the debt ceiling: “I could end the deficit in 5 minutes,” he told CNBC. “You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.” (Hat-tip to Marvin for that one!)

Is the Tea Party movement relevant?  Ask George Will:  Time Is on the Side of Tea Party Reforms – Common American Journal  “Thanks largely to the tea party, today, more than at any time since Reagan’s arrival 30 years ago, Washington debate is conducted in conservatism’s vocabulary of government retrenchment. The debt-ceiling vote, an action-forcing mechanism of limited utility, has at least demonstrated that Obama is, strictly speaking, unbelievable.”

ICYMI – Here’s what Dirty Harry Reid had to say about Cut Cap and Balance on Friday:  “If they [Senate Republicans] want to debate it tomorrow for a period of time, they can do that, but I’m going to — I think this piece of legislation is about as weak and senseless as anything that has ever come on this Senate floor … The American people should understand that this is a bad piece of legislation. Perhaps some of the worst legislation in the history of this country.”  Meanwhile, here’s what he said in 2006 – HE THOUGHT IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS THAT WE MIGHT INCREASE THE DEBT LIMIT TO $9 TRILLION:    HEY HARRY – YOUR DUPLICITY IS SHOWING!!!!!!!

And what is the other hand doing?  End of the Line | FreedomWorks  “Behind the scenes, while Washington and the United States focus on the debt crisis, President Obama’s EPA has been quietly implementing one of the most radical and costly policies of his administration. Ever since the failure of cap-and-trade, the administration has turned to the EPA to carry out its radical environmental agenda.”

Meanwhile, back in the Heartland.  Wisconsin Accounts For More Than Half of New Jobs in June and Kasich Touts Ohio’s Improvement in CNBC Business Survey  Well, well, well……how do you like them apples, 0bama and union thugs?????

Survey Says….Trust on Issues – Rasmussen Reports™  “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 45% trust Republicans more when it comes to handling economic issues, while 35% put more trust in Democrats.”

The growing concern over Kagan.  Letter_to_Judiciary_Committee_re_Kagan_Recusal.pdf  “Contradictory to her 2010 confirmation testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, recently released Department of Justice (DOJ) documents indicate that Justice Kagan actively participated with her Obama Administration colleagues in formulating a defense of PPACA.”  PPACA = 0bamacare.  Kagan = 0bamacare lackey.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people affected by the attacks in Norway.

Final Thought:  “Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” Ronald Reagan

Hi Lee – Fifty years ago, 0bama would not have been elected because he’s black. His election to president shows that we are past looking at race (i.e. “post-racial”) when determining who to vote for as president. “Reverse-racial” is indeed “post-racial” taken to its extreme. My point was to show that even though we’ve gotten past disqualifying someone for president because he’s black, we haven’t gotten past accepting a female to hold that office.

    • Lee says :

Hi Gilia — You are equating “racial” with socially dominant anti-Black racism by Whites, while seeing socially dominant (or at least ascending) anti-White hatred by Blacks (and race-traitor or WLG-suffering Whites) as “post.,” and hence somehow acceptable. To play the PC game in reverse, I as a White person am offended by your justifying of discrimination and bigotry against my race (and yours). You have unwittingly bought into “reverse discrimination” against your own race, the very force that got the Great Black Hope elected.

“Post-racial” would be a situation where race plays no substantive role–“no more importance than eye color,” one might say (some of you know what I’m alluding to with that). Realistically speaking, this could only be achieved by such extensive racial interbreeding that separate races simply cease to exist as biological or genealogical realities.

You need to stop being conservative and start being a reactionary. Don’t simply accept the status quo. Rather, work to return of the good of the good ole days.

As for discrimination against females in the office, you are buying into a shallow interpretation that projects your approach to ethics and values onto the actions of a people who expressly reject that approach. The truth is that the shots at Bachmann and Palin would not generally be taken at–or at least tolerated against–a liberal female. Attacks on Hilary Clinton actually prove my point. Those attacks were tolerated solely because she was running against a Black man, and race identity politics is far more important today to the Left than gender politics (save perhaps on issues of homosexuality). Even as liberals will yell “racism” at anyone criticizing their Kenyan savior, then attack minority conservatives with terms like “Oreo” (against Blacks), “bananas” (against Asiatics), and “coconuts” (against Hispanics)–the skin color on the outside, but white on the inside–the “sexist” attacks on our two hotties are simply liberals claiming a right to a double standard in behavior. It’s ideology, not biology.

In essence, then, you have the situation exactly reversed. Race is a huge factor, though now with a reverse prejudice or oppression, while gender (apart from homosexuality) is hardly a factor at all. Obama was elected almost entirely because of his race, but relatively few decide to be for or against Palin and Bachmann because of their gender. Don’t give the liberals the benefit of believing their are genuine in their rhetoric.

HDR: “I STILL say the election of Barack 0bama showed that Americans are indeed post-racial (or even too willing to give a person the benefit of the doubt because he’s non-white.) ”

“Post-racial”? Hardly. More like “reverse-racial.” Your “benefit of the doubt” factor is called White Liberal Guilt. It comes from White people losing their group identity and then turning to race-treason by giving not a special benefit over a “doubt,” but rather because due to the false notion that the race which they are betraying is somehow guilty of some heinous crime against humanity. Nevermind that slavery, the issue most commonly cited on this, is an institution practiced since time immemorial, condoned by the Judeo-Christian scriptures, and mostly practiced today by Blacks and Muslims. Nevermind that Blacks in America by and large owe Whites’s enslaving of their ancestors for them being here, as opposed to Africa (I shouldn’t have to describe the differences). And nevermind that Whites have contributed disproportionately more to the advancement of the entire human race–including Blacks. And finally, as humanity’s view of slavery began departing from that of the Judeo-Christian scriptures to something perceived today as more “enlightened” (that means, “progressive” or “liberal”), nevermind it was the White, Western culture and those dominated by it that led the way to virtually abolishing the institution from the planet–except, of course, those areas dominated by Blacks and Muslims.

Even today, after carrying out an Affirmative Action hiring of a pResident, too many Whites feel uncomfortable facing these seemingly positive attributes of the racial history. And the result is that someone with a record (and frankly, heritage) like Obama’s not only can get elected to the leadership of the country, but can even be viable–even likely–for re-election.

So no, we are in no way “post-racial.” We have simply seen and are seeing a switch in dominance–the surrendering without a fight by one race of the birthright left to it by its ancestors.
