HDR 179: Barack Obama – Poor Man, Rich Man

ALOHA, ALL!!  Barry/Barack Soetoro/Obama likes to rant against the “rich” and “special interests.”  He’s in the process of a bitter debate with Congress over raising the debt ceiling.  He talks like an expert who knows what’s best for the country.  But Barry – you don’t know jack!  This is a man who’s never owned a business or held a job in the real world (except working for Baskin Robbins in high school.)  And check out how he and Queen Michelle lived prior to 2005 when the “magic beans” arrived:  Flashback Pre-2005 Obamas : Deeply in Debt, Living off Lines of Credit Until “Magic Beans” Arrived  Hey Michelle, isn’t that “downright mean country” great?  It enabled you and your husband to succeed and become wealthy.  Of course, you and your husband’s penchant for not being able to live within your means is showing, and we’re all bearing the brunt (not you, of course – you’re Nomenklatura.)  We now have an inexperienced loser in charge of our country and its economy.  Is it 2012 yet?????

Ah….the rub.  Levin: Constitutional genius Obama can’t veto balanced budget amendment – Common American Journal  “…if the Balanced Budget Amendment passes both the House and the Senate it goes to the states, not Obama. He’s got nothing to do with it.”  Not much chance of it getting that far, though.

The House passed Cut Cap & Balance – what will Barry do????  Watch Paul Ryan – THE MAN!!!

Here’s how they voted on CC&B:  Final Vote Results for Roll Call 606  Note that Ron Paul & Michele Bachmann voted “no” because they thought it didn’t go far enough:    Two 2012 Hopefuls Among 9 Republicans Voting No on Cut, Cap, and Balance | CNSnews.com

Being poor ain’t what it used to be.  What is Poverty in America?  “You’ll be surprised to learn that many of the 30 million Americans defined as “poor” and in need of government assistance aren’t quite what you’d expect—rather than homeless and on the streets, the average poor American household has luxuries like air conditioning, cable TV, and X-box video game consoles….In fact, the typical poor American had more living space than the average European. (Note: That’s average European, not poor European.)”

Rich, useful idiots.    Obama Gets Big Hollywood Money  “Rolling the credits for President Barack Obama’s fund-raising campaign chronicles a star-studded cast of A-list Hollywood and TV stars, as well as other entertainers, pitching thousands into his campaign coffers, according to the second-quarter Federal Election Commission report.”   Obama Has Early Fund-Raising Lead for 2012 Elections – NYTimes.com  “New Stable of Wealthy Donors Fueled Obama Campaign’s Record Fund-Raising Quarter.”

UH….more idiots.  This is the guy who called CC&B “Ryan’s plan with lipstick.”  (Note:  I don’t even get what that means!!!!)

Which Party supports women?  Proud to Be a Republican Woman – Katherine Beard  “…the Republican Party promotes the ideals that women across the country deal with every day. Republicans stand for family values and economic responsibility. They believe in small business and in job creation. Ultimately, Republicans foster a prosperous America, so that the children of today will have a brighter future tomorrow.”  (Thanks to my Smart Girl Politics peeps for this link and video.)

This should make you feel safe.  Counter-terrorism: Iraqi refugees in U.S. rechecked for terrorism links – latimes.com  “Officials fear lapses in immigration security may have let insurgents and potential terrorists enter the country. More than 58,000 Iraqis are being screened again.”  Lovely.  What the heck are you doing, Janet?????

Meanwhile, in Afghanistan.  Afghanistan: First Impressions  This is the blog written by  Pete Hegseth, an instructor at the Counterinsurgency Training Center – Afghanistan (CTC-A), located at Camp Julien in southwest Kabul.  You want the real story?  That’s right, folks…he’s there.  BTW, he includes his mailing address and he likes Dunkin Donuts coffee 😉

Steve Wynn blasts Barry.  Wynn’s Rant: One Among Many – Investors.com  “…declaring him “the greatest wet blanket to business, progress and job creation in my lifetime….”I’m telling you that the business community in this country is frightened to death of the weird political philosophy of the president of the United States.”  BTW – Wynn supported Barry in 2008.

Final Thought:  “The welfare state is not really about the welfare of the masses. It is about the egos of the elites.” Thomas Sowell

Special HDR message:  I’m participating in a Skype one-on-one call with four members of Congress today to talk about CCB, the debt, deficit and more.  Look for a re-cap in the next HDR!!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA – PASS THIS ON – REMEMBER IN 2012!!

  1. Lee says :

“Flashback Pre-2005 Obamas : Deeply in Debt, Living off Lines of Credit Until “Magic Beans” Arrived”–Should be accompanied by soundtrack of “The Jeffersons” theme (though George and Weezie were better with their money).

“Rich, useful idiots.”–It’s not about money to them, it’s about “social justice”–the idea that some people should be given more by society (by means of coercion) because they are inferior and don’t accomplish as much.

“the guy who called CC&B “Ryan’s plan with lipstick.””–Hank Johnson. He’s elected from one of those racial set-aside districts. This is the bizarro-twisty result of your democracy.

    That’s all!

“Ron Paul & Michele Bachmann voted “no” because they thought it didn’t go far enough”–Bachmann is being a purist, and look at the company she joins.

“Being poor ain’t what it used to be.”–Two points:
    1. We have no poverty in America.
    2. To give the devils their due, the liberals make a point when they note that Americans need to learn to sacrifice. But that sacrifice ought to be for national security, not non-security domestic programs. A strong military can be economically advantageous. It’s like the response given to the guy who said a Glock pistol was too expensive–“It pays for itself the first time you use it.” (NOTE: Not a Glock fan. Prefer Taurus revolvers and S&W or Kel-Tec automatics.)
