ALOHA ALL!!!  Mitt Romney won both the Arizona & Michigan primaries last night.  I was impressed by his victory speech – it was rousing, emotive and inspiring.  Rick Santorum also gave a good concession speech.  HDR Newsflash: Romney, Santorum or Gingrich would be infinitely better than the clown we have playing President now.  #wecantwait  

Another one bites the dust.  Good news from Maine: Olympia Snowe is going to spend more time with her family – Common American Journal  ”I do find it frustrating, however, that an atmosphere of polarization and ‘my way or the highway’ ideologies has become pervasive in campaigns and in our governing institutions.”  Because of Olympia Snowe, we have 0bamacare.  She allowed it to be voted out of committee, saying at the time “Sometimes you just have to be a part of history.”  Good riddance.  UPDATE:  There may be something going on behind the scenes.  BREAKING: Senator Snowe not running for re-election | Pine Tree Politics

Brothers of Pepe Cardona, who fled drug and fraud charges in the US in 1994, began raising money for Obama last year.”  So are they considered “Bad-To-The-Bone Bundlers?”

Hump Day Report: Elections Have Consequences

ALOHA, ALL!!!  I know you’ve heard it many times:  “This is the most important election of our lifetimes.”   Get used to hearing it because it’s true.  It was said of the 2008 election and guess what?  It was true then, but people didn’t pay attention.  After 4 years of this administration, the 2012 election will determine if we correct the mistakes or head off the cliff.  Look what we’ve gotten with Barry/Barack Soetoro/0bama:  

But wait…..there’s more!!!!  Is our military stronger?  Are you as free as you were 4 years ago?  Is the United States respected around the world?  (NOTE:  I don’t give a rip if they like us – do they respect us?)  Do you feel confident this country is headed in the right direction?  So you see, it’s not OK to just sit back and claim you’re “too busy” or “can’t stand politics.”   If you don’t get involved this year, you have no right to complain if we get another 4 years of disastrous “leadership” from Barry.

ALOHA, ALL!!  Did you ever think the day would come when we’d have a second-rate military?  Looks like that  time is here.  0bama plans to cut “tens of thousands” of ground troops in the near future in favor of more air and sea power (hmmm…isn’t he trying to make the Navy buy expensive biofuels to power their ships?  Oops!  We’re not supposed to connect those dots.)  At any rate, I know I’m just an ordinary peon citizen, but isn’t the primary duty of our government to protect its citizens?  Shouldn’t we have superiority is ALL areas of combat?   A couple of links:

Hump Day Report: The Lonely Life of Barack Obama

ALOHA, ALL!  So here we are in 2012….FINALLY!  I only made one resolution for this year, and that is to do all I can to get Barack 0bama out of the White House.  He left Hawaii Monday and isn’t’ wasting any time getting back to work – campaigning:  Obama Returns to Campaign Trail After Hawaii Vacation: Next Stop, Ohio   We don’t need a perpetual campaigner  - we need a leader in the White House.

He vants to be alone.   I’m sure the NYT thought this piece would be another of their complimentary diatribes about Barry, but it’s had the opposite effect.  Do we really want a President who “keeps Congress and official Washington at arm’s length”? NYT: Obama’s kind of a White House recluse « Hot Air  He’d rather campaign with TOTUS as his BFF, speaking in front of all his adoring fans than do his real job.  Hubby wrote the following letter to the Star Advertiser about the story, but (surprise!) they didn’t publish it.  Probably didn’t want to upset Barry while he was on vacation here.  After all, he needed to golf, work out and eat shave ice:

With regard to your front page report (12/29) of President Obama’s isolation in office: A business for which I consult once hired a highly-touted “relationship manager” to lead its sales team. We soon learned that he didn’t like the salesmen and product managers and was overtly avoiding them. Such similar attitudes and hermit-like behavior may help explain President Obama’s inability to lead Congress. In our case, sales foundered until the bosses replaced this individual with someone who was a better fit for the job.

ALOHA, ALL!!  Here we go again.  Last night the House passed a spending bill and today the Senate (i.e. Harry Reid) killed.  Both Houses are in recess next week because of the Jewish Holidays.  So what happens next?  Another tug-of-war between the GOP-controlled House and the Dem-controlled Senate  looks likely.  Government shutdown threat looms larger – MarketWatch

Romney Gets a Big Endorsement.  Issa endorses Romney « Hot Air  ”Score this as two House conservatives this week joining Team Mitt. I’m Giving Barry A Pass.…I’m sure you’ve read a lot about this picture of 0bama at the UN and how he waved his hand in front of the face of the Mongolian President:  

So here’s the thing:  all of us have probably been in situations like this before where a group photo is taken and at the last minute, someone makes a silly gesture or thinks the photographer says “wave” instead of “smile.”  *pregnant pause*  At any rate, group photos are rife with unexpected outcomes.  I’ll give Barry a pass on this.  But why isn’t anyone focusing on the fact that he was meeting with the U.N.’s Open Government Partnership?????  What else is he getting us into?  On the surface, it sounds like a worthy goal…openness and transparency in government.  But what does it really mean? Why do I think it’s going to be yet another UN scheme to try and extract money from the United States????  Sorry so cynical.

But I’m NOT Giving Him A Pass For This:    New gaffe: Obama hails America’s historic building of ‘the Intercontinental Railroad’ – latimes.com  He made that brilliant statement at a speech he gave at the Brent Spence Bridge, which spans the Ohio River between Cincinnati OH & Covington KY.  Only problem with speaking there is:  Obama touts jobs plan at Ohio bridge that won’t qualify – Patriot Update   HAHAHAHA!!!!
