Hump Day Report: The War That Blew Up in Obama’s Face

ALOHA, ALL!!  Wow.  What could possibly make Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, David Axelrod, Jim Messina, Joe Biden and numerous other “defenders of women” come out on the same day and throw a woman under the bus?  That woman letting the cat out of the bag.  Here’s the thing:  the left has always had a disdain for stay-at-home moms.  Remember Hillary Clinton’s famous remark about how she’s not staying home baking cookies?  After all, that would mean she’s doing menial things like preparing meals for a family and tending to basic household needs.  People like Hillary have nannies for those unimportant tasks!!!!  So now another Hilary (hmmm…odd coincidence), Hilary Rosen (with one l – apparently she wasn’t named after a famous mountain climber like Clinton was) has a moment of complete candor and the Democrat spin machine goes into full tizzy mode.  LOVE. IT!

Too little too late.  Democratic strategist Rosen apologizes for attack on Ann Romney | Fox News  “Guess what, (Romney’s) wife has actually never worked a day in her life,” said Rosen, who has twins with ex-partner Elizabeth Birch.”  (Sidenote:  Birch is a former Chair of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.  She runs Rosie O’Donnell’s production company.  Oh…I see she also graduated from the University of Hawaii.)

No worries – Rosen has NOTHING to do with Obama’s campaign.  Democrats declare war on women? Update: Frequent White House visitor? « Hot Air  ”White House visitor logs indicate that “Hilary Rosen” visited the White House thirty-five times. Gen. David Petraeus, head of our efforts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the current CIA director, nine times.”

Obama Press Secretary Jay Carney tried to explain all those visits – LOL!  

And who does Rosen currently work for?  Hilary Rosen | SKDKnickerbocker  Note the names on the masthead.  Does “Anita Dunn” sound familiar?  But no worries – I repeat….Rosen has NOTHING to do with Obama’s campaign.  But wait….didn’t The One himself raise the “not working” theme just days before?  Video: Obama Lays Groundwork for Rosen’s Attack on Ann Romney  Coincidence that both he and Rosen are beating the same drum?  RIIIIIGHT!

Voter fraud allegations widen in Vernon – latimes.com  More evidence, this on a local level.  But Eric Holder thinks there’s no problem.  ”The city of Vernon on Wednesday was roiled by allegations of widespread voter fraud, including charges that outsiders were brought in to influence the city’s first competitive election in years. The Chamber of Commerce says that nearly 30% of the registered voters in the city don’t actually live there.”

Hoopster In Chief Has Own Image on Ball* – ABC News  Seriously???  ”Using a special basketball festooned with his own image, President Obama shot some hoop today with former NBA players, Harlem Globetrotters and kids attending the White House Easter Egg Hunt….He then moved on to tennis with Chris Evert. Hump Day Report: How Can Obama Possibly Win? It’s Easy.

ALOHA, ALL!!  This election should be a piece of chocolate cake with strawberries on top.  But it won’t be.  The media are in the tank for Obama, so scratch any semblance of balanced journalism from them.  Big labor is in the tank for Obama, so they will use whatever thug tactics they can to get him re-elected.  Big name celebrities are in the tank for Obama, so they will use their visibility to bring in big bucks.  It seems Barry has the female vote in key swing states, because they’ve bought into the whole war on women crap (see this HDR:  Dumbing Down the Women’s Vote.)  But here’s the big reason Obama could win:  voter fraud.  James O’Keefe (Remember him?  He did the videos exposing ACORN) has an explosive video showing how easy it is to get a ballot – someone else’s ballot – by simply walking in to a polling place.  But the biggest shocker of all….he even pretend to be the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, and pulled off this scam.  (Um…doesn’t say much for the poll workers knowledge of government officials, does it?  But that’s another problem.)  Check this out:  

That’s right, folks…he walked right into Eric Holder’s voting precinct, claimed to be Holder and was welcomed with open arms.  We don’t need no stinkin’ ID!

And look who’s counting the votes:  Bias in new vote-counting system? The emails reveal Democrats’ effort to steal the 2008 election.”

Are we trying to emulate Egypt?  Egyptian Cleric: It’s an ‘Obligation to Cheat at Elections’ | FrontPage Magazine  ”Over and over, evidence emerges from Islamic nations that democracy and voting are instrumental means to an intrinsic end: the establishment of a decidedly undemocratic but draconian form of law—Islamic law, or Sharia.”  In the case of the United States, it’s ObamaLaw.

They stuffed ballot boxes….paid off Jesse Jackson….took Russian money.  This year will make all these actions seem like kid’s stuff!  Putin agrees.

Hump Day Report: Dumbing Down The Women’s Vote

ALOHA, ALL!!  I always got along better with men than women.  And a new poll released by USA Today gives me one more explanation why.  It appears that women have given Obama a lead over Romney in several of the key swing states.  What the heck is wrong with you??????  Are you so gullible that this fake “War on Women” drummed up by the Democrats has swayed you?  Do you not see how the left uses you as pawns?  Obama has given us record debt and deficits.  The “Constitutional Scholar” has rammed an unconstitutional law down our throats.  Unemployment stays above 8%.  Our stature around the world has been demeaned.  Billions of dollars have been wasted on failed stimulus programs and ridiculous energy schemes.  Our own natural resources that could make us energy independent lie fallow.  The Keystone pipeline – a project that could provide both energy and jobs – is nixed.  And women prefer Obama? Frankly, I’m disgusted.  American women need to wake up to the true issues facing our country.  And free birth control for law students isn’t one of them.  Or maybe this explains it better:  if we become a permanent debtor nation, that glass ceiling will turn into concrete one.  For good.  Got your attention now?

Hump Day Report: Malia Does Mexico

My kids are off-limits! Unless..."

ALOHA, ALL!!!  So with all the news this week, here’s a blockbuster story you never heard:  Malia Obama took a Spring Break vacation to Mexico.  I know….why such a big deal?  Well, it MUST be a big deal because all the news outlets have either hidden or scrapped the story!  Why would they do that, you say?  Think about it:  the country is suffering through a bad economy.  Gas prices are ridiculously high.  Unemployment and under-employment remain troubling.  The deficit is at all-time high.  Yet Barry is out promoting himself as one of the people …the best hope to get us out of our slump.  Can you imagine if after reporting one of his fundraiser, er, energy speeches the next news story showed Malia tanning on a Mexican beach?  (Oh, by the way, you’re paying for Malia to frolic in the sun with her friends and 25 Secret Service agents.)  What’s troubling is that this story was initially reported and then scrubbed from numerous sites (so much for the most transparent administration in history.)  OK…kids are off-limits?  Then why does Barry trot them out when it’s to his political advantage (like the smiling family on the cover of a magazine) but squashes a story that might make he and his family look out-of-touch?  Oh yeah….Mexico?????  Would you let your teenaged daughter go there for Spring break?  I guess if a couple dozen armed agents went along for the ride….  The Troubling Things The Malia Obama Spring Break Story Reveal – Investors.com

ALOHA, All!!  Barry’s benevolence is amazing.  He has looked over his domain and decided we have too much…too much land, too much in natural resources, just TOO MUCH!  So his latest act of noblesse oblige is to give part of Alaska to Russia.  Yes, you heard me.  In it’s infinite wisdom, the 0bama administration has decided through a so-called maritime agreement – developed by our own State Department – to give 7 Alaskan islands to Russia.  Well ain’t that just a barrell of monkeys?  So why aren’t the media shouting this from the rooftops?  Barry thinks it’s OK to give away part of our own country and they say nothing???  Monkey business doesn’t even come close…..(BTW, if you read Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” this whole thing makes perfect sense.)   

What the heck – we don’t need that silly oil!  Obama’s giveaway: oil-rich islands to Russia – Common American Journal  ”Obama’s State Department is giving away seven strategic, resource-laden Alaskan islands to the Russians. Yes, to the Putin regime in the Kremlin.”

Lest we forget.  Harsanyi: Aren’t High Gas Prices What Democrats Want? » Commentary — GOPUSA  ”Gas prices are spiking. That’s great news, right? We have to wean ourselves off the stuff. At least that’s what we’ve been hearing for years. Oil is dirty. We import it from nations that hate our guts (like Canada!). And moreover, we’re running out. Meanwhile, back at the castle – another vacation for Michelle Antoinette.  Michelle Obama Decides to Ski Aspen – Common American Journal  ”The first lady, who just returned last month from 17 days of relaxation in Hawaii, is skiing in Colorado on Presidents’ Day Weekend for the second year in a row. Last year she went to Vail.”  How special for her!  She works so hard, she needs another vacation with the girls.

When I read about Big Bill Thompson and the Al Capone/Chicago machine in the Hump Day report, I about fell over because Big Bill is a dirty word in my family. My paternal great-grandfather, Robert M. Sweitzer, was Big Bill’s Democratic opponent in 1915 and again I think in 1927. I know all about the Mob connections and the dirty politics back then and vote fixing. My great grandfather was also Cook County Clerk during this same time and high up in the Knights of Columbus (supposedly not a plus back then to be Catholic). On the other side of my family, my maternal grandfather who was a Chicago policeman/detective, helped arrest Big Al Capone which resulted in him heading off to prison (I have a newspaper clipping) Just thought you might find my family connections interesting.

Hump Day Report: Obama’s Oil Folly

ALOHA, ALL!!  Remember how Barry claimed in his SOTU speech that he was on target to reach his goal of doubling exports?  (I know….who was paying attention?)  Anyhow, when I heard it I thought to myself, “export what?”  He never explained what those exports were, hoping we’d all think it was cars or clothing or widgets.  But guess what’s propelling Barry’s export success?  Oil.  Our own oil that we could be using for ourselves is going to other countries at a record pace.  Check this out:  Export growth on track to meet Obama goal – Economy – NewsObserver.com  ”Sales of petroleum products also hit a record of about $90 billion in 2011, making fuel the country’s single-biggest export, and the United States a net exporter of fuel for the first time in six decades.”  Are you kidding me?????  Just one more example of how 0bama wants energy prices to “necessarily skyrocket.”  (Shaka to Rose Marie for the link.)

Romney wins Florida, Newt & Santorum vow to fight on.  Let’s hope they listen to Dick Morris.

ICYMI:  Did you know that since May, the House has passed over 15 jobs bills that are currently sitting in the Democrat-controlled Senate?  Harry Reid has stonewalled them.  So don’t believe these Dem talking heads who keep saying “the Republicans have no plan.”  They’ve had several.

ALOHA, ALL!   Attorney General Eric (The Red) Holder has been caught in a flat-out lie…under oath.  When asked by The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chair, Darrell Issa, about Fast and Furious on May 3, 2011, Holder claimed he only learned about it “over the last few weeks.”  In fact, Holder was briefed on the plan in July 2010.  Of course, he claims he was told of the operation but not the specifics.  Are we really to believe that Holder – the top dog in the DoJ –  didn’t get briefed on the details of the operation?  Give me a break!  So let’s say he didn’t know the details – that makes him completely clueless and incompetent!  Furthermore, documents just released that show the July 2010 briefing now prove that Holder lied to Issa about when he knew of the program.  “When did you first know about the program officially known as Fast and Furious?” That was the question – Holder lied in his answer.  I say it’s long past time to get rid of this lying flunkie.  New Documents Show Attorney General Eric Holder Committed Perjury Before Congress – Common American Journal  Check out this video of Holder hemming and hawing:      I’ll say it again…DARRELL ISSA IS THE MAN!!

So here’s the thing:  all of us have probably been in situations like this before where a group photo is taken and at the last minute, someone makes a silly gesture or thinks the photographer says “wave” instead of “smile.”  *pregnant pause*  At any rate, group photos are rife with unexpected outcomes.  I’ll give Barry a pass on this.  But why isn’t anyone focusing on the fact that he was meeting with the U.N.’s Open Government Partnership?????  What else is he getting us into?  On the surface, it sounds like a worthy goal…openness and transparency in government.  But what does it really mean? Why do I think it’s going to be yet another UN scheme to try and extract money from the United States????  Sorry so cynical.
