Hump Day Report: Alert the Media! Obama Begins Campaign

ALOHA, ALL!!  Barack Obama decided to make THE Ohio State University the first “official” stop of his campaign Saturday.  Is he fooling anyone?  Besides those hordes of adoring, naive college students, that is.  Obama has been campaigning for at least the past year.  All those fundraisers on our dime, timely photo-ops, and convenient speeches where he blasted his opponents sure didn’t look like leadership.  They looked like blatant self-promotion.  So now he tells us the campaign has officially begun.  Good.  Let the gloves come off, Romney.  I hope you go after him as ruthlessly as Obama will go after you.

Stop the presses – have they actually learned something???? Obama Launches Campaign In Empty Arena  ”Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney’s campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals sparse attendance.”  (Sidenote:  I’ve been to that arena for numerous events.  A Journey concert not too long ago had it filled to the brim.  And from the way it looks, Obama only got about one-tenth of the number of people who typically show up for a Buckeye football game.)

His Full-Time Job  ”In running for reelection, Obama has already set records. As of March 6, he’s held more fundraising events (104) than the previous five presidents combined (94). And I suspect Obama has set the record for blaming his predecessor for his own troubles. If he hasn’t, there’s still time. The election is six months away.” (Shaka to Biz)
