Hump Day Report: The War That Blew Up in Obama’s Face

ALOHA, ALL!!  Wow.  What could possibly make Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, David Axelrod, Jim Messina, Joe Biden and numerous other “defenders of women” come out on the same day and throw a woman under the bus?  That woman letting the cat out of the bag.  Here’s the thing:  the left has always had a disdain for stay-at-home moms.  Remember Hillary Clinton’s famous remark about how she’s not staying home baking cookies?  After all, that would mean she’s doing menial things like preparing meals for a family and tending to basic household needs.  People like Hillary have nannies for those unimportant tasks!!!!  So now another Hilary (hmmm…odd coincidence), Hilary Rosen (with one l – apparently she wasn’t named after a famous mountain climber like Clinton was) has a moment of complete candor and the Democrat spin machine goes into full tizzy mode.  LOVE. IT!

Too little too late.  Democratic strategist Rosen apologizes for attack on Ann Romney | Fox News  “Guess what, (Romney’s) wife has actually never worked a day in her life,” said Rosen, who has twins with ex-partner Elizabeth Birch.”  (Sidenote:  Birch is a former Chair of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.  She runs Rosie O’Donnell’s production company.  Oh…I see she also graduated from the University of Hawaii.)

No worries – Rosen has NOTHING to do with Obama’s campaign.  Democrats declare war on women? David Petraeus, head of our efforts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the current CIA director, nine times.”

Voter fraud allegations widen in Vernon – latimes.com  More evidence, this on a local level.  But Eric Holder thinks there’s no problem.  ”The city of Vernon on Wednesday was roiled by allegations of widespread voter fraud, including charges that outsiders were brought in to influence the city’s first competitive election in years. The Chamber of Commerce says that nearly 30% of the registered voters in the city don’t actually live there.”

Hoopster In Chief Has Own Image on Ball* – ABC News  Seriously???  ”Using a special basketball festooned with his own image, President Obama shot some hoop today with former NBA players, Harlem Globetrotters and kids attending the White House Easter Egg Hunt….He then moved on to tennis with Chris Evert. The tennis balls did not have his image on them.”  Well thank heaven for little favors.

My kids are off-limits! Unless..."

ALOHA, ALL!!!  So with all the news this week, here’s a blockbuster story you never heard:  Malia Obama took a Spring Break vacation to Mexico.  I know….why such a big deal?  Well, it MUST be a big deal because all the news outlets have either hidden or scrapped the story!  Why would they do that, you say?  Think about it:  the country is suffering through a bad economy.  Gas prices are ridiculously high.  Unemployment and under-employment remain troubling.  The deficit is at all-time high.  Yet Barry is out promoting himself as one of the people …the best hope to get us out of our slump.  Can you imagine if after reporting one of his fundraiser, er, energy speeches the next news story showed Malia tanning on a Mexican beach?  (Oh, by the way, you’re paying for Malia to frolic in the sun with her friends and 25 Secret Service agents.)  What’s troubling is that this story was initially reported and then scrubbed from numerous sites (so much for the most transparent administration in history.)  OK…kids are off-limits?  Then why does Barry trot them out when it’s to his political advantage (like the smiling family on the cover of a magazine) but squashes a story that might make he and his family look out-of-touch?  Oh yeah….Mexico?????  Would you let your teenaged daughter go there for Spring break?  I guess if a couple dozen armed agents went along for the ride….  The Troubling Things The Malia Obama Spring Break Story Reveal – Investors.com

Aloha, All!  I know…I said I wasn’t going to post as much the next couple of weeks, but Holy Jingle Bells….so much going on!  My Mom called me a little while ago, laughing uncomfortably.  She and I have the same name (Gilia.)  Guess what?  The late Dear Leader of Korea had flowers named for him using OUR name.  That’s right….the name that I share with my mother has been desecrated.  A Japanese botanist cultivated a Gilia flower into a begonia and named it after Kim Jong Il for his 46th birthday.  Here’s the commemorative song:

ALOHA, ALL!!  Just when you think you’ve heard it all, you get smacked in the face with something so outrageous you want to scream.  In an effort to help those less fortunate, the U.S. gives aid to other countries.  These poor, struggling countries that have such bad economies they are really desperate to provide for their people.  Countries like Japan, Germany, France, Great Britain and……CHINA!  Yep.  But don’t we borrow money from China, you say?  Yep.  But we still give them about $2.5 billion a year in foreign aid.  (Sure makes you look at that over-the-top 2008 Olympics in a whole new way, doesn’t it?  Let alone the charade with all China’s human rights violations…but I digress.)  Of course, Japan loans us money, too.  Germany, France & Great Britain?  Not exactly third world.  If you can figure this one out, let me know.  And we give foreign aid to these guys? Hump Day Report: Are You Freaking Kidding Me??????

ALOHA, ALL!!  You’ll be asking the same question when you hear the latest about Solyndra.  It turns out internal documents relating to Solyndra show signs of being altered by the Department of Energy. This comes in the midst of the White House refusing to turn over the Solyndra documents.  (Sidenote:  the documents that have shared are so heavily redacted that they pretty much look like sheets of paper full of black marks.)  HUH??? Why aren’t heads rolling over this entire fiasco??  And check it – the source for this story is not Fox News or some “right-wing” media outlet, but CNBC of all places:  Energy Department Altered Loan-Related Releases – US Business News – CNBC  But it looks like the DoE realized the gig was up and returned the documents to their original content as a result of CNBC’s inquiry about the changes.  What…so that makes it all go away????  These criminals in this administration need to pay for their abuses.  In the Solyndra case, that’s means Energy Secretary Steven Chu is at the top of the list (he’s standing next to “Big Sis” Janet Napolitano in the picture above.)  This is a guy who wants gas to be $9 a gallon.   He wants everyone to move to cities, get rid of their cars and only use public transportation.  He doesn’t care that many of America’s goods are delivered by trucks, and that rising gas prices mean rising prices for…well…lots of other things, too.  He’s so far from reality he lives in his own little universe.  Just like his boss.  Then again, he lives in DC.

HDR 191: The Thugocracy of Barack Obama

ALOHA, ALL!!!  Did you hear all the talk about war, barbarians at the gate and taking people out this weekend?  You would have thought it was the field of battle….actually it is.  It’s a battle started by Barry’s minions in the most sinister way.  They’re ratcheting up the rhetoric against those who oppose their big government, socialist ways.  And that rhetoric is filled with violent words.  And where is Barry?  Right in the middle of it all.

JIMMY HOFFA DECLARES WAR ON THE TEA PARTY:  What’s that?  You thought he was dead?  This is Hoffa Jr, introducing Barry at a Labor Day union rally in Michigan (Hoff Jr is head of the Teamsters…fitting isn’t it?)  So Hoffa introduces 0bama with “Let’s take these sons of bitches out.”  Meanwhile, Barry doesn’t say a word about the hateful rhetoric, only that he “admires” Hoffa.  Yet the Tea Party folks are considered extreme and violent.  Right.    

Then there’s Joe Biden.  He was speaking to a Labor group in Cincinnati.  He thinks those of us opposed to big government are “the barbarians at the gate.”  He also claims “the other side has declared war on Labor’s house.”  HEY BARRY – IS THIS THE CIVILITY YOU WANTED?????  

And Wasserman Schultz – HEAD OF THE DNC – refused to address Hoffa’s remarks.  She stonewalled….just like they all do.  Can you imagine if a Tea Party person or Republican had said this???????

So you thought you’ve heard it all?  How about this:  Harry Reid took illegal donations from a Nevada brothel to fund his political campaign.  But wait….prostitution is legal in Nevada.  In fact, no law prohibited the brothel owner (Joe Conforte of the Mustang Ranch) from contributing to Reid, as long as Reid pledged the money toward his statewide office campaign and reported the amount. But Reid did neither.  This was nearly 40 years ago but the story could blast “Mustang Harry” right out of the Senate.  I hope it’s true and that Reid’s former long-time campaign manager (who broke the story) isn’t just blowing smoke:  Pimp Paid For First Harry Reid Campaign I know what you’re thinking…too  many jokes to even think about here!  Let er rip  BTW, the Mustang Ranch has quite a history – it was licensed in 1971 as Nevada’s first brothel.  (Thanks to Ralph for another great image!)

Last week, there was fecal matter on the beach – the horror!  But before he left for his 5th vacation since July, 0bama made some recess appointments, one of whom has a really shady past – turns out her former boyfriend was a Cuban national and Castro sympathizer:  0bama Appoints Maria del Carmen Aponte As Ambassador to El Salvador So doesn’t 0bama know anyone without a questionable past?  Why is he naming all these people to governmental posts? Joe’s In Charge! While 0bama is on vacation, Joltin’ Joe Biden has been front and center, doing what he does best – putting his foot in his mouth.  He’s been touting how the stimulus has created jobs and it looks like he’s correct…in El Salvador (wow – that’s the second El Salvador mention this week – weird.)  Vice President Biden Defends Stimulus Scheme Anyhow, just wondering how Joe can explain this:  ”Under the vigilant oversight of Vice President Biden and other Democrats such as Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, the “stimulus” spending binge recently led to the creation of new jobs in El Salvador at the expense of American taxpayers, while the unemployment rate in Ohio remains well above 10 percent. School Daze. 0bama now has a school named after him in the DC area – hooray!  The Barack 0bama Elementary School opened its doors Monday and is a “environmentally green school.”  I wonder if they have to bring their own toilet paper. And even though California is broke, the state plans to open a $578 million public school next month in Los Angeles. Named the Robert F Kennedy Community Schools, it will be K-12 and house 4200 students.  Amenities include fine art murals and a marble memorial depicting the complex’s namesake, a manicured public park, and a state-of-the-art swimming pool.  Ready to move in?
