ALOHA, ALL!! By now you’ve heard that 0bama rejected the Keystone Pipeline project, showing once again that for him, politics trumps what’s best for America. This obvious move to appease his enviro-leftist supporters is an outrage. Here are some facts you need to know (shaka to Ericka at The Heritage Foundation):
1) Obama’s “Forced” Keystone Decision Rejects Jobs, Energy, and Logic
- Obama’s decision to reject Keystone sent a clear message that special interest demands are of more importance than more energy and much-needed job creation.
- Building the pipeline would bring over 700,000 barrels of oil per day and directly create 20,000 truly shovel-ready jobs.
- The Canadian Energy Research Institute estimates that current pipeline operations and the addition of the Keystone XL pipeline would create 179,000 American jobs by 2035.
- Keystone XL also met 57 specific pipeline safety standard requirements created by DOS and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).
- Senators Max Baucus (D–MT), Jon Tester (D–MT), Joe Manchin (D–WV), Ben Nelson (D–NE), Mark Begich (D–AK), and Mary Landrieu (D–LA) have all expressed support for the pipeline.
- The President’s own jobs council underscored the need for not only more oil, natural gas, and coal but also energy infrastructure project
2) Under Obama, Oil and Gas Production on Federal Lands Is Down 40%.
- The vast majority of America’s oil and gas production is happening on private lands in states like North Dakota, Alaska and Texas.
- Oil and natural gas production on federal lands is down by more than 40 percent compared to 10 years ago.
- Under the Obama administration, 2010 had the lowest number of onshore leases issued since 1984
- The Obama administration held only one offshore lease sale in 2011.

Oops! We’re not supposed to connect those dots.) At any rate, I know I’m just an ordinary peon citizen, but isn’t the primary duty of our government to protect its citizens? ALOHA, ALL!! Surprise! The so-called “Super” Committee failed to come to an agreement over how to solve the debt crisis. Did anyone doubt that it was set up to fail from the beginning? (If you did then I have some beautiful ocean-front property to sell you in Hawaii for $100.) So now what? It’s obvious that the plan to include the automatic defense cuts was no fluke – Barry and his comrades want to gut our military. (If you doubt that, I have some beautiful ocean-front property to sell you in Hawaii for $1000. Yes, the price is going up.) In the days to come, we’ll learn more about what went on at those ”Super” meetings, but here’s a guess: Dems wanted to raise taxes and not touch entitlements. In fact, were entitlements even on the table with either party? Turkey Talk. I got this from a friend who is not a goof-ball. So be aware when buying that Thanksgiving bird: Please be aware that Butterball turkeys are halal certified. We received a turkey from Bob’s employer that is a Butterball & Bob saw something about Butterball being halal certified. He went to the Butterball website & it is true. We returned the turkey for a generic. Publix refused to take the turkey back for an exchange so her went to Winn Dixie & they willingly exchanged it for us.
Halal certified means that when the turkey is killed the butcher must be Islam sane & utter worship words to Allah that I do not know how to spell. Then a muslim prayer must be said over the carcasses as well. Not sure how to spell- a bismuh? The throat is cut- carotids, jugulars & trachea all @ once. Not to gross anyone out, but I am finding more & more halal certified meat @ the store & I refuse to buy it. I refuse to give retailers any money that participate in this if I can help it.

In typical form when he’s off TOTUS, Barry made up things: Obama Touts Federal Worker Pay Freeze That Isn’t ”In fact, under the measure the president dubbed a “freeze,” the Federal Times estimated that 1.1 million federal employees will receive pay bumps totaling more than $2.5 billion in additional salary through the standard “step increases” federal pay system.” He also said this: “The nice thing about the defense budget is it’s so big, it’s so huge, that a 1 percent reduction is the equivalent of the education budget. Not — I’m exaggerating, but it’s so big that you can make relatively modest changes to defense that end up giving you a lot of head room to fund things like basic research or student loans or things like that.” HUH? What a doofus! According to The Heritage Foundation a 1 percent reduction to the Pentagon’s proposed fiscal 2012 base budget would be $5.5 billion — or 7 percent of the Department of Education’s proposed budget.
